Advanced Training
Instrument Rating Training ~$4,000
Learn how to fly safely in all weather conditions by mastering the art of instrument flight. This essential skill will allow you to fly through clouds and low visibility, opening up new possibilities for your flying career. A Private Instrument Rating is recommended for PPLs.
Instructor Training

Design Feature Endorsements

Flight Training
​Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) ~$6000
Perfect for hobbyists! Learn to fly recreationally with this entry-level licence, giving you the freedom to explore the skies within a 25 nautical mile radius of your home airfield. It's the ideal starting point for any aviation journey.
RPL Conversion ~$1500
Already have some flying experience under RAAus? Convert your existing Recreational Pilot's Certificate into an RPL with no exams, allowing you to enjoy the perks of this flexible and rewarding CASA licence without starting from scratch. Prerequisites: ARN, AELP, Class 2 Medical, 5 hours solo.
Private Pilot Licence (PPL) ~$12,000
Take your flying to the next level! With a PPL, you'll be able to fly further and with more freedom, including taking passengers on cross-country flights. This is your gateway to truly exploring the skies.
Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) ~$10,000

Flight Reviews – $150 + Instructor Time
Keep your skills sharp and stay certified with our thorough flight reviews. Whether you're brushing up after a break or preparing for something new, our experienced instructors will ensure you're ready for takeoff. 30 minute briefing + 1.5 hours + $150 ≈ $500

Command Aviation is operated by Michael Pullman as a single-instructor flight training school under CASR Part 141. Michael is a Grade 2 CASA instructor with Instrument & Instructor training privileges. Michael was trained at Command Flight Training in Murray Bridge, South Australia, and has operated extensively in the Adelaide area for over 10 years. Michael provides top-notch flight training and flight reviews.
